Mu Yang, MS, received his BE degree in Environmental Engineering in 1993 from Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, China. He then worked as an Assistant Engineer in Beijing Institute of Nuclear Engineering for 3 years before he enrolled in the Health Physics program in the Department of Nuclear and Radiological Engineering, University of Florida in 1997. In 1999, after receiving his MS degree in Health Physics, he started his graduate study in Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering focusing on Computer Aided Radiation Field Visualization. In September 2002, he started to work for the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Florida after receiving his MS degree in Computer Sciences. He joined the faculty in October 2006.
