Shands at UF is located in Gainesville, Fla., on the University of Florida campus off of Archer Road (SR 24), about three miles east of I-75, exit 384, and one block west of U.S. Hwy 441.

Parking information

The visitor parking garages are located just off S.W. Archer Road on the west (Mowry Road) and east (Newell Drive) ends of the hospital.
The fee for parking is $3 per day. For patients with state-issued disability permits, parking is free in both the garages and the metered lots adjacent to the hospital.

Shands shuttles are available from 7 a.m. until 8:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, to transport you from the visitor parking garages to the hospital. Valet parking is also available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. The valet parking booth is located along the curb in the front circle of the east entrance to the hospital. The cost is $5 per day per car, and $3 per day per car for those with state-issued disability permits. If you use the valet service more than once per day, there is an additional $3 fee.
