Christopher Skowlund, MD
CHRISTOPHER SKOWLUND, M.D. is a fellow in endovascular neurosurgery. His prior medical training was performed at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he was awarded his medical degree in 1998. He completed an internship in general surgery, followed by residency in radiology and fellowship training in neuroradiology culminating in 2004.
Dr. Skowlund is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology. He is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Skowlund completed his undergraduate degree in economics and political science at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He has five years experience as a staff neuroradiologist in academic practice. He is married and has two children. He has held a private pilot license since 2001 and enjoys aviation in his spare time.
