Justin M. Sporrer, MD

JUSTIN M. SPORRER, MD received his medical degree from the University of Florida in May 2007. He began his Residency in Neurosurgery at UF in July 2007 and is scheduled to graduate in June 2014. Pediatric and functional neurosurgery are areas of special interest to Dr. Sporrer.

Dr. Sporrer attended Georgetown University for his undergraduate training, where he majored in biology and theology. While at Georgetown, Dr. Sporrer received the Chapman Medal for Biological Research, the Georgetown Physics Award for Outstanding Research in Theoretical Physics, and the Barrett Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Humanities. During medical school at UF, he earned the AMA Award for Medical Research.

Tennis and music occupy Dr. Sporrer in his spare time, and he enjoys travel and Gator football.
